Javier González Sabater


Javier González Sabater (Alicante, Spain 1971) is Expert on Innovation and Technology Transfer, Master in Business Administration and Energy Engineer. In January 2006 he has founded his own consultancy and training services company in the field of Innovation, Technology and R&D (Research and Development) management.

He is the founder of the initiatives: DIPINNOVA, a technology marketplace to link Industry to University, ITT NETWORK, an international network of Innovation and Technology Transfer professionals, and GESTORES ITT, a social network of R&D and Technology Transfer Professionals.

He is speaker on workshops, courses and events, member of the INVATE (Valencia Technology Institute Foundation) consultancy team, collaborator of the Regional Government as expert on R&D funding programs and current Innovation related news blogger.

Innovation and technology transfer experience

He has belonged for 9 years to the University of Alicante technology transfer staff at both technology liaison office (OTRI) and IRC Cenemes, member of the EU funded Innovation Relay Centre Network –the largest technology transfer network in the world–.

During this period he has advised companies, particularly Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs), Universities and Technology Centres on searching and marketing of technology, innovation management, intellectual property rights, innovation financing, European R&D programs, etc. He has been pre-selected as expert for the RTD EU V Framework Program.

He is graduated at several international Universities, has a wide training background and has been ERASMUS and IAESTE granted. He belongs to some social networks and professional communities as Xing, Linkedin, Ictnet, Infonomia, i-techpartner and Enginer´s Association of Valencia.
